Tualatin Foursquare Church is built on Ephesians 4:12 - "To equip the saints for the work of ministry." Our goal is to see each member become an active minister in the Body of Christ

To assist in achieving this goal we offer a Sunday evening class series title the Pathway to Involvement. The five classes in this series are Church Membership, Church Relationship, Church Service and Church Ministry I & II. The series is offered twice a year. The purpose is to provide a structure to equip people to minister with confidence in areas of their interest and calling.

Each class in the Pathway to Involvement provides a foundation for different levels of involvement in TFC ministries. The classes are required prior to ministering at TFC. Once a level of preparation has been reached, individuals may still be required to fill out applications prior to ministry. The Path to Involvement follows the process of:

  

1. Church Membership
Defining TFC's primary purpose & structure. Required before voting in church election of council members.

2. Church Relationship
Exploring the meaning of healthy biblical relationships in a church setting. Required for: Sunday Service Team, Special Projects, Short Term Missions Team Member.

3. Church Service
Understanding the attitude of Required for: Worship Team, Information Center, Office Volunteer, Nursery, Sunday School Helper.

4. Church Ministry I & II
Discussing TFC's values and expectations for ministry. Required for: Sunday School Teacher, Youth/Young Adult Leaders, Faith Builder Teachers, Prayer Ministry Team, Men's & Women's Ministry Leadership, Outreach Leadership Team, Worship Team Leader, Short Term Missions Team Leader.
